I came across Max’s picture online and fell in love. He was a beautiful 9 year old German Shepard like dog on short little legs. He had been turned into a rescue when his owner had to go into assisted living. From the date I scooped him up from the shelter he was my best friend. Max loved to do anything as long as we were hanging out together, so a hike, a drive to the doggy beach, pulling weeds in the backyard, or running errands, anything was an adventure he was 100% excited for. I loved him and he changed my life. In his honor, I am continuing to adopt senior dogs from the shelter to love on them and give them a comfortable and happy experience of their later years.
