About Us

Peaceful Pets was established by Dr. Jeanette Yamamoto in the Santa Clarita Valley in September 2011 to help fulfill the growing need for in-home euthanasia services. Being from the SCV, Dr. Yamamoto felt this was an important way she could serve her hometown.

Peaceful Pets' philosophy is based on the belief that our client's and their pet's needs are of the utmost importance during the difficult time associated with euthanasia. We strive to ensure that this final phase of life is one filled with comfort, compassion, and love.

We believe your pet's beautiful story deserves a beautiful ending

Kyra

Veterinary Technician

Kyra joins our team as a Veterinary Technician with over 13 years of experience in the veterinary field. Her love, dedication and compassion towards animals naturally crossed over into a love for early education – specifically working with elementary level autistic children. Kyra hopes to one day bridge the gap between service animals and self contained special needs classrooms. Kyra is a Santa Clarita native and a mother to a 12 year old 3-legged Queensland Heeler named Nani. Kyra spends her free time reading, welding, sculpting, doing art, specifically painting and exploring her new passion of glass blowing & stained glass.
